Show Stromboli's eruptions | Mariangela Zabatino

"Stromboli's eruptions" exhibition, the unpublished works of Mariangela Zabatino for the inauguration of the La Balena bookshop, in via Cesare Correnti 24 in Milan , a place where books, art and nature meet.

Inauguration Sunday 27 November 2022 at 16:00 with guitarist Valerio Vado. The exhibition will continue until January 15, 2023 .

The series of unpublished works "Stromboli's eruptions" was born straight away in 2007, almost simultaneously with the opening of the third mouth of the volcano.

The energy released by the primordial elements resurfaces in these works, created with the tissue paper collage technique .

Volcanoes and the forces they represent blend well with the expression of the arche - for the ancient Greeks, the primordial force that dominates the world - which has always been the object of Mariangela Zabatino 's artistic research.

These works , never exhibited until now, finally find the perfect opportunity for their presentation to the public in the setting of the inauguration of the La Balena bookshop, in via Cesare Correnti 24, Milan , a place where books, art and nature meet.

Together with the works "Stromboli's eruptions" the artist will also exhibit several of his ceramics , in which the union of the various elements - clay, water, fire and air - is nothing more than an echo of what happens in the volcanic "forge".

On Sunday 27 November 2022, during the inauguration of the exhibition , from 4.00 pm guitarist Valerio Vado will perform musical pieces inspired by mythology and the sea.

The exhibition will continue until January 15, 2023.

The works that will be exhibited are unpublished, but if you don't have the opportunity to go to Milan to see them live and you still want to find out more about the artist, you can find some of his unique works here, on our website. Click to find out more about Mariangela Zabatino.
